SMP For Alopecia
When it comes to the sudden and total loss of hair on the scalp, one of two types of alopecia are the condition. Alopecia Universalis is the loss of all body hair, including the face and scalp.Alopecia totalis is the loss of hair on the scalp alone.Scalp Micropigmentation can address both conditions by offering the illusion of a shaved head or a very close buzz cut.
“Would highly recommend to anyone using Scalp Ink Australia. One of the best decision I have ever made, great feeling!”
Alopecia is not yet fully understood scientifically but it is believed that an auto immune disorder exists which attacks the follicles. As follicles form an integral part of our skin’s structure, when they are compromised, so too is the skin. Treating alopecia with scalp micropigmentation is highly successful but it must be trusted only to artists who understand the complex dermatological structure of compromised skin.
The scalp skin follicles are unlike any others on the body in that they produce up to 3 hairs each. To that end, our SMP artists replicate this look so remarkably accurately that it is imperceptible from a close-cut hair style. Carefully accomplished over several sessions to respect the skin’s integrity, results are outstanding and have helped hundreds of clients cope with this condition.
